Waterford is a golf community located in North Venice, closer to Sarasota.  There are 640 residences arranged across ten communities.  About half of the properties in Waterford are single-family residences; the rest are detached villas for homeowners who enjoy the maintenance-free lifestyle.  This is a gated community with a strong homeowner’s association, and the annual fees cover more than just maintenance of common areas: They also cover the use of the top-notch amenities.
